1. Who we are
ANGELINO, a sole proprietorship, is the controller for the personal data processed through angelinofood.nl.

2. What we process and why
Orders. Name, email address, delivery address, billing address, telephone number, order details and payment status. Purpose: fulfilling and delivering your order, customer service, returns and our administration. Basis: performance of the contract and legal obligation.
Customer account. If you create an account: your name, email address, address details and order history. Purpose: letting you view your orders and check out faster. Basis: performance of the contract.
Newsletter and waiting list. Your email address and, if you provide it, your first name. Purpose: informing you about new products, the launch and offers. Basis: your consent, given through a double opt in. You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
Customer contact. The content of your emails and your contact details. Purpose: answering your question and being able to trace the exchange. Basis: performance of the contract or our legitimate interest in good customer service.
Website use. Technical data needed to run the shop securely. Basis: our legitimate interest in a functioning and secure website.
3. Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We use service providers who process data on our behalf and with whom we have concluded data processing agreements:
- Shopify, for the webshop platform
- our payment service provider, for processing payments
- MONTA, our fulfilment partner, for storage, shipping and returns
- the carrier delivering your parcel, for delivery and track and trace
- Shopify, for email and the newsletter
- Google Workspace, for email and storage
We also share data with our accountant and with the Dutch tax authorities to the extent legally required. We disclose data to other parties only where the law requires it.
4. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some service providers may process data outside the EEA. Where that happens we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Retention periods
- Order, payment and administration data: 7 years, under the statutory tax retention obligation
- Customer account: for as long as your account exists, and thereafter 7 years for the administrative data
- Newsletter and waiting list: until you unsubscribe
- Customer emails: a maximum of 2 years after the matter is closed
6. Cookies
Our shop uses functional and strictly necessary cookies to operate, for example to remember your cart. For analytics or marketing cookies we ask your consent in advance through the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Send your request to contact@angelinofood.nl. We respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, two factor authentication on our systems and access on a need to know basis.
9. Automated decision making
We do not take decisions about you based on automated processing that produce legal effects for you.
